1. Flow Entry – Process fluid enters the elbow from the upstream piping through one butt weld end.

2. Sweep Transition – The long radius sweep design gently guides the flow through a 90-degree arc. Unlike short radius elbows, the gradual bend reduces turbulence, minimizes pressure drop, and prevents product degradation.

3. Flow Exit – The fluid exits through the opposite butt weld end, now flowing in a perpendicular direction to the original pipeline.
