304 Stainless Steel Construction: Offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, ideal for washdown environments and high-temperature CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes .
Roll-On / Expanding Design: Features a grooved ID that grips the outside of tubing, allowing for quick installation without full butt-weld precision—perfect for retrofitting existing lines.
Sanitary Polished Finish: Highly polished interior (Ra < 32µin) reduces bacterial growth and residue buildup, ensuring product purity and easy cleaning.
3A & FDA Compliance: Accepted by the USDA and USFDA, meeting strict 3-A Sanitary Standards for milk and milk products (Authorization No. 621) .
The 14RMP functions as a Tri-Clamp adapter that bridges a tube end to a clamp connection. The ferrule is slipped over the tube O.D. (where the roll-on feature provides grip). A tack weld or small fillet weld secures it in place. Once attached, a standard Tri-Clamp gasket is compressed between the ferrule's face and a mating clamp fitting, creating a leak-resistant, sanitary seal that allows for rapid disconnection.
Full Size Range in Stock: Available from 1" to 4" with option for 6", matching standard tube O.D. and I.D. specifications.
Certified Quality: All units are supplied with Material Test Reports (MTR) and meet CRN certification requirements.
Direct Alternative: Reliable, price-competitive alternative to Dixon® and Alfa Laval® 14RMP series, with equivalent Dimensional Interchangeability.
Expert Logistics: We handle global shipping, ensuring bulk orders (standard pack multiples) arrive on time for your project schedule.
What is the difference between "Roll-On" and "Butt Weld" ferrules?
Roll-On ferrules (like 14RMP) slip over the outside of the tube and are rough welded, making them ideal for repairing or modifying existing lines. Butt weld ferrules require precise alignment and full-penetration welding, usually done on new installations.
What material and surface finish is standard for 14RMP?
Standard is 304 Stainless Steel with a #7 polished finish (ID=32µin / OD=32µin) to ensure hygiene. 316L variants are available upon request.
Is this ferrule 3A certified?
Yes, the 14RMP series meets 3-A Sanitary Standards No. 63-03 for fittings. It is accepted by the USDA and USFDA for use in dairy and food handling systems
