Beveled Seat Design for Superior Sealing – The precision-machined beveled seat creates a metal-to-metal seal when mated with a plain bevel ferrule, ensuring leak-free performance even under demanding operating conditions.
Long Threaded Configuration – The extended threaded portion provides greater engagement length, resulting in a stronger, more rigid connection that resists loosening under vibration and thermal cycling.
High-Grade Stainless Steel Construction – Available in 304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and 316L stainless steel for enhanced resistance to chlorides and acidic environments. Both options deliver exceptional durability and longevity.
Superior Surface Finish – Standard 32Ra ID/OD 180 grit polish finish meets or exceeds FDA and 3-A sanitary standards. The polished surfaces are easy to clean and minimize areas where bacteria can form.
Versatile Size Range – Available from 1" to 4" tube outer diameter, accommodating a wide variety of piping system requirements.
Leak-Proof & Reliable Connection – The bevel seat design, combined with a captured hex nut, creates a secure and rigid joint that prevents leaks and maintains system integrity. This eliminates costly downtime and product loss due to connection failures.
Easy Installation & Maintenance – The threaded design enables quick assembly and disassembly without specialized tools. This significantly reduces installation time and simplifies clean-in-place (CIP) maintenance procedures.
Industry-Compliant & Hygienic – Meets 3-A sanitary standards and FDA regulatory requirements, making it suitable for food contact applications. The high-quality polish finish ensures superior cleanability and prevents bacterial growth.
Exceptional Corrosion Resistance – The stainless steel construction provides outstanding resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and chemical attack, ensuring long service life even in harsh processing environments.
Versatile Application Compatibility – Seamlessly adapts butt weld sanitary connections to bevel seat connections, offering flexibility in system design and retrofit projects.
Bevel-to-Bevel Mating – The 15A Long Threaded Bevel Seat Ferrule works by mating with a plain bevel ferrule (sold separately). The beveled surfaces of both components align precisely, creating a metal-to-metal sealing interface.
Threaded Engagement – A captured hex nut is threaded onto the long threaded portion of the ferrule. As the nut is tightened, it draws the two beveled faces together, compressing the sealing surfaces and forming a leak-proof joint.
Compression Sealing Mechanism – The tightening action generates controlled compression between the beveled seats. This creates a rigid, permanent seal that does not rely on gaskets or O-rings – eliminating the risk of gasket degradation, contamination, or outgassing.
Secure Retention – Once fully tightened, the connection remains secure and stable, resisting loosening from vibration, pressure fluctuations, and thermal expansion-. The design ensures uniformity and rigidity throughout the piping system.

Q1: What materials are available?
Available in 304 SS (standard) and 316L SS (better for chlorides/acids). Choose 316L for corrosive or high‑purity applications.
Q2: Which industries use this ferrule?
Food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, biotech, and chemical processing – any hygienic piping system.
Q3: What is the max pressure and temperature?
400 psi at 72°F; working temperature range –30°F to 250°F. Always check your specific conditions.
Q4: How does the bevel seat seal work?
Mates with a plain bevel ferrule; the captured nut pulls the bevels together, forming a metal‑to‑metal, gasket‑free leak‑proof seal.
Q5: What is the standard surface finish?
32Ra ID/OD 180 grit polish – meets 3‑A and FDA standards, easy to clean and bacteria‑resistant.
Q6: What sizes do you offer?
From 1″ to 4″ tube OD. Models: 15A‑G100 (1″), G150 (1.5″), G200 (2″), G250 (2.5″), G300 (3″), G400 (4″).
Q7: Is it compatible with my existing system?
Yes – it adapts butt‑weld sanitary connections to bevel‑seat connections, fitting most standard sanitary piping.
Q8: Do I need special tools for installation?
No – just standard wrenches. Quick assembly/disassembly, ideal for CIP maintenance.
