Union End Connection for Easy Maintenance – The integrated union nut enables rapid disassembly for internal part replacement or cleaning without disturbing pipeline alignment.
Versatile Installation Orientations – Designed for both horizontal and vertical (upward flow) installations, offering flexible piping layout options.
Reliable Backflow Prevention – Spring-loaded disc or precision-machined ball ensures instant closure upon flow reversal, protecting pumps and compressors.
Multiple Thread Options – Available in NPT, BSPT, or BSPP threads to match global piping standards.
Compact & Durable Construction – Small footprint with heavy-duty body thickness ensures long service life under high-pressure conditions (up to 800 PSI / PN16-PN40).
Low Pressure Drop – Optimized internal flow path minimizes turbulence and maintains system efficiency.
Zero Leakage Sealing – PTFE or EPDM/NBR soft seats provide tight shut-off and resistance to wear.
The Union Type Check Valve operates automatically based on differential pressure:
Opening (Forward Flow): When the inlet pressure exceeds the outlet pressure plus the spring (or disc weight), the fluid pushes the disc/ball away from the seat, allowing flow through the valve.
Closing (Reverse Flow): As soon as the forward flow stops or reverses, the combination of reverse flow pressure and the spring force immediately returns the disc/ball to its seat, creating a tight seal that prevents any media from flowing backward.
The union design allows the entire internal cartridge (seat, disc, spring) to be extracted conveniently for service.

Q: What media can the Union Type Check Valve handle?
A: It is suitable for water, steam, oil, compressed air, natural gas, and mild chemicals, depending on the selected body and seat materials.
Q: Can this valve be installed vertically?
A: Yes. It supports both horizontal pipelines and vertical pipelines with upward flow direction. Please specify your installation orientation when ordering.
Q: What is the difference between the swing and ball type?
A: The swing type features a hinged disc for low-pressure drop systems, while the ball type uses a spherical sealing element, offering faster response with spring assistance. Both are available.
Q: What thread standards are available?
A: We offer NPT (National Pipe Thread), BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper), and BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). Please confirm your required standard.
Q: How do I maintain the Union Check Valve?
A: Simply loosen the union nut, remove the internal cartridge, clean or replace the disc/seal, and reassemble – no need to remove the entire valve body from the pipeline.
Q: What is the maximum operating temperature?
A: Depending on the seat material (PTFE, EPDM, or NBR), the temperature ranges from -20°C to 120°C (with high-temperature options available upon request).
Q: Is the valve bidirectional?
A: No. This is a one-way (non-return) valve. Please check the flow arrow marked on the body during installation to ensure correct orientation.
