DIN11852 Standard Compliance – Manufactured to DIN 11852 / EN 10374 standards for hygienic stainless steel welding fittings
Inch / Imperial Sizing – Engineered to butt weld perfectly to imperial (inch) tube sizes – available from 1/2" to 6"
DIN Union System Integration – Functions as the weld liner component of a complete DIN union assembly (along with DIN-13 nut, DIN-15 male, and seal)
Hygienic Crevice-Free Design – Smooth internal bore ensures no dead zones and minimizes bacterial growth
High Corrosion Resistance – Constructed from premium 304 and 316L stainless steel for long-lasting durability
CIP / SIP Compatible – Designed to support Clean-In-Place and Sterilize-In-Place cleaning and sterilization procedures
Precision Engineered – Uniform wall thickness and strict dimensional control ensure reliable, leak-proof welds
Surface Finish – Internal roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8μm and weld seam of Ra ≤ 1.6μm
Solves the Inch Problem – Standard DIN fittings are designed for metric DN tubes, which can be difficult to source; our DIN Inch Weld Liner butt welds perfectly to imperial tube sizes
Hygienic Operation – Crevice-free design with smooth surface finish meets GMP / HACCP standards, making it suitable for sterile piping systems
Permanent & Reliable – Butt weld connection provides a strong, permanent, leak-proof joint that outlasts mechanical connections
Easy System Integration – Compatible with standard DIN slotted nuts and DIN seals, ensuring seamless integration with existing DIN union systems
The DIN11852 Welding Liner operates as a critical component within a DIN union system:
Permanent Installation – The weld liner is butt welded directly to the end of an imperial (inch) tube, creating a permanent, leak-proof connection
Union Assembly – The DIN union consists of four components: weld liner (DIN-14 / DIN11852), male part (DIN-15), nut (DIN-13), and seal
Sealing – A DIN-style gasket is placed between the weld liner and the mating male fitting, creating a hygienic, crevice-free seal
Securing – The DIN nut is threaded over the connection, compressing the gasket to form a pressure-tight seal
Access & Maintenance – Loosening the nut allows for easy disassembly for cleaning, inspection, or process changes without disturbing the welded connection
