The SMS-14 Welding Liner functions as a critical component within an SMS sanitary union system-:
Welding – The liner is welded to the end of a tube or pipe using orbital or manual TIG welding, creating a permanent, homogenous joint
Union Assembly – The welded liner is combined with an SMS male part (SMS 1146), an SMS nut (SMS 1148), and an L-shaped gasket (SMS 1149) to form a complete union connection
Sealing – The L-shaped gasket is compressed between the liner and the male part when the nut is tightened, creating a hygienic, crevice-free seal-
Flow – The smooth internal bore of the liner allows product flow to pass through with minimal turbulence and no entrapment points
Maintenance – The union design allows for easy disassembly by loosening the nut, enabling rapid cleaning, inspection, or line changes
This design provides a permanent welded connection to the tubing with the flexibility of a union for maintenance access.
Certified Quality – All our SMS-14 Welding Liners are 3A Sanitary Standards certified, meeting the highest industry requirements for dairy and food processing equipment-3. We also hold CE certification and ISO 9001 quality management system certification, ensuring consistent product excellence
Premium Materials – We use only high-grade 304 and 316L stainless steel, offering exceptional corrosion resistance, weldability, and longevity-
