This valve features a two-piece (2PC) flanged body construction, with the valve body split into two sections connected by bolted joints. This design allows for disassembly and maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline, which reduces downtime for component replacement or sealing surface inspection. The floating ball design allows the ball to shift position under system pressure, pressing against the downstream seat to create a tight seal at low to medium operating pressures.
The valve is manufactured with a full port bore, which provides an unobstructed flow path equal to the nominal pipe size. This design minimizes flow resistance and pressure drop across the valve, making it suitable for applications that require unimpeded media transfer. A quarter-turn operating mechanism enables quick open/close operation, with a handle included for manual actuation as standard. Thrust washers between the stem and body reduce rotational friction, supporting smooth operation over repeated cycles.
This flanged ball valve is designed and tested in accordance with widely accepted industrial standards. The valve body and structural design follow ANSI/ASME B16.34 and EN 12516-1 specifications for industrial valves. Face-to-face dimensions conform to ASME B16.10, and flange end dimensions match ASME B16.5 raised face (RF) flange standards. For quality verification, valves are inspected and tested per API 598 and EN 12266 test procedures for shell strength and seat leakage.
The 150LB pressure class rating corresponds to standard pressure-temperature ratings for ASME Class 150 valve construction. This rating defines the maximum allowable working pressure at specified temperatures, in alignment with ASME B16.34 pressure-temperature tables. All production processes follow dimensional and material specifications defined in these standards to ensure interchangeability with standard pipeline components.

This ball valve operates within a temperature range of -20℃ to 150℃ when equipped with standard PTFE seats. The maximum working pressure is 150LB at ambient temperature, with pressure capacity decreasing as temperature increases in accordance with standard pressure-temperature curves.
Suitable working media include water, oil, natural gas, and dilute acidic solutions. Material compatibility will vary based on media concentration, temperature, and pressure; material selection should be verified for specific service conditions. For enterprise customers with specialized media requirements, alternative seat and body materials are available upon request.
These valves are used across a range of commercial operations, including water treatment systems, petrochemical processing plants, oil and gas transmission pipelines, and general industrial fluid control systems. The two-piece maintainable design reduces long-term operational costs for facility management teams.
This 2PC floating ball valve conforms to ANSI/ASME B16.34 and EN 12516-1 design standards, ASME B16.10 face-to-face dimensions, ASME B16.5 RF flange dimensions, and API 598 / EN 12266 inspection and testing standards. All 150LB pressure class ratings follow ASME B16.34 pressure-temperature specifications.
Valve bodies are available in WCB carbon steel, CF8 (SS304 equivalent) cast stainless steel, and CF8M (SS316 equivalent) cast stainless steel. Ball and stem components (trim) are available in SS201, SS304, and SS316 stainless steel. Standard seat and sealing materials are PTFE, with RPTFE available as an alternative for improved wear resistance.
With standard PTFE seats, the valve can operate continuously within a temperature range of -20℃ to 150℃. Operating temperatures outside this range may cause degradation of the seat material and reduce sealing performance. For higher temperature applications, alternative seat materials can be specified during procurement.
